Description
Spring, summer, and autumn are ideal seasons to enjoy your outdoor area with aluminum sliding doors and windows. These can be equipped with 5 mm single-layer tempered (safety) glass, or you can choose 16 mm double-layer glass for better sound and thermal insulation. Single-layer tempered glass with a thickness of 5 mm typically provides good insulation against weather conditions, while 2-layer Low-E glass (with a thickness of 16 mm) offers improved thermal and sound insulation, reduced condensation, and optimal comfort. This makes the windows a fantastic addition to your home to maximize the use of outdoor space all year round. The aluminum frames provide durability and strength while being resistant to corrosion. You can choose from various colors for the frames, such as white or anthracite. It is important to note that uninsulated windows with single-layer or double-layer aluminum glass do not provide the same level of insulation as more energy-efficient options, such as windows with insulated profiles and low-energy glass. If energy efficiency is an important factor for you, it may be worth considering these alternatives. Regardless of which option you choose, aluminum sliding doors and windows can enhance your outdoor space and give you the flexibility to enjoy it in the spring,
summer, and autumn months. When ordering windows, it is important to specify the outer measurement of the frame and not the light opening. The windows should be viewed from the outside. To ensure a precise fit, it is recommended to subtract 10 mm from the length of the light opening and 5-10 mm from the height (this applies when the light opening is level). This makes it easier to install the doors or windows without them being too tight, and ensures a good and accurate fit. If you want a different color than the standard, we can offer all colors that have a RAL code (you can obtain this at a paint retailer). Extend the season on your terrace, balcony, summer room, or veranda! A glazed terrace, balcony, or veranda can be used from early spring to late autumn! With patio heaters, you have a glazed area that can be used year-round! Remember that it is the owner’s responsibility to close sliding doors or windows, especially during strong gusts of wind. If a strong gust comes in, and the wind does not find its way out again, the glass windows may shatter to make way. This will be considered the owner’s responsibility and cost to cover according to the agreement. Please be aware of this for your own safety.
