Spring, summer, and autumn are the ideal seasons to enjoy your outdoor space with aluminum profile sliding doors and windows. They can be fitted with 5mm or 6mm tempered glass, or you can choose a double-glass unit (16mm thickness) for better sound and thermal insulation. A single 5mm tempered glass layer generally provides good protection from the elements, while a double-glass unit (16mm thick) improves thermal and sound insulation and reduces condensation. This makes sliding doors and windows a perfect addition to your home, allowing you to make the most of your outdoor space year-round.
Using framed sliding doors or windows, you can create an open and spacious atmosphere. You can easily slide the doors or windows to one side or the other to open up the room, letting in more fresh air and natural light. On cooler days, you can close them to maintain warmth.
Aluminum frames ensure durability and strength while also being corrosion-resistant. You can choose from different frame colors. Standard colors are RAL-7016 Anthracite and RAL-8017 Brown. For an additional cost, we can paint the aluminum frames in any custom color from the RAL palette.
It is important to note that non-insulated sliding doors or windows with single glass or double-glass units do not provide the same level of insulation as energy-efficient alternatives, such as windows with insulated profiles and low-energy glass. If energy efficiency is important to you, it is worth considering these options.
Whichever option you choose, aluminum sliding doors and windows can enhance your terrace and give you the flexibility to enjoy spring, summer, and autumn months.
When ordering sliding doors and windows, it is important to provide the external frame dimensions, not the opening size. To ensure accurate installation, it is recommended to subtract 10–15 mm from the opening width and 5–10 mm from the height (applies when the opening is level).
