* Sliding Aluminum Doors
Spring, summer, and autumn are the perfect seasons to enjoy outdoor spaces with sliding doors and windows made from aluminum profiles. They can be equipped with 4 mm, 5 mm, or 6 mm tempered glass, or you can choose a double-glass unit (16 mm thickness) for improved sound and thermal insulation. A single 5 mm tempered glass layer generally provides adequate protection against weather, while a double-glass unit (16 mm thick) enhances thermal and sound insulation and reduces condensation. This makes sliding doors and windows an excellent addition to your home, allowing you to make the most of outdoor areas throughout the year.
With sliding frame doors or windows, you can create an open and spacious atmosphere. Doors and windows can be easily slid to either side, allowing fresh air and natural light to enter the room. On cooler days, they can be closed to maintain warmth.
Aluminum frames ensure durability and strength while remaining corrosion-resistant. You can choose from different frame colors. Standard colors are RAL-7016 Anthracite and RAL-8017 Brown. For an additional cost, we can paint aluminum frames in any other non-standard color from the RAL palette.
It is important to note that non-insulated sliding doors or windows with single glass or glass units do not provide the same level of insulation as energy-saving alternatives, such as windows with insulated profiles and low-energy glass. If energy efficiency is important to you, it is worth considering these options.
Whichever option you choose, aluminum sliding doors and windows can enhance your terrace and give you the flexibility to enjoy spring, summer, and autumn months.
When ordering sliding doors and windows, it is important to provide the external frame dimensions, not the opening size. To ensure precise installation, it is recommended to subtract 10–15 mm from the opening width and 5–10 mm from the height (applies to a flat opening).
